Help Guide Kanye West in 'Kanye Quest'

KanyeQuest

Kanye West might be the current crown price of hip-hop, though we all know the true sign of fame and fortune is star in a video game. And that day has finally come. In the form of an old school, indie produced role-playing game that goes by the name Kanye Quest 3030.

The game has Kanye being sent through a wormhole and arriving in a future that is ruled by Lil B (which might be a nightmare to West, but for fans of the Based God, it sounds quite nice actually). To go back home, Kanye must fight clones of various dead rappers. Including Tupac, Deltron Zero, Snoop Lion, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Jay-Z, even the Notorious B.I.G.

Battles are handled in a traditional turn based manner, similar to most classic 8/16-bit JPRGs, though instead of standard attacks and magic spells, Kanye must harness his ability to rap and diss, plus those primo production skills will also be handy:

Kanye Quest 3030 is definitely worth the trip, especially since it's free. Though it only runs on PC at the moment. Nab your copy here. One also can't help be reminded of an equally wacky game, starring Charles Barkley.

Called Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, It has the NBA star in similarly bleak future, one that he created himself, because he performed a dunk so powerful that it killed everyone in attendance at the game. Dubbed the Chaos Dunk, another was performed in the year 2053 that killed millions, and Barkley is falsely accused.

As a result, he is the target of B-Ball Removal Department, led by Michael Jordan. Various other prominent basketball players make appearances or are referenced, including LeBron James, Vince Carter, and Larry Bird.

Here we have an excerpt from the game, in which a Cyber Dwarf goes out on a date with Ivory Latta:

A sequel was proposed on Kickstarter and had zero problems blowing past its goal.
